Sakadama becomes a new era in bonsai culture
Sakadama ist ein im Ofen gebrannter Ton, der als Substrat für Bonsai-Bäume verwendet wird.

The product is fired at 600 °C in a rotary kiln, producing a hard, wear-resistant particle that retains the natural absorption properties of attapulgite clay.

Sakadama can also be mixed with pumice, perlite, pine bark, etc. to create an ideal growing mix for the specific climate of the bonsai in question.

Sakadama promotes root growth and fine rooting. This is achieved because the product has a low density, improves drainage and increases nutrient and moisture retention.
